Terms of use

Last updated 22 October 2026

Please read these terms before you use Oakling Secondary Scholars. We have kept them as short and plain as we can.

1. Accepting these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and Oakling Academics (“we”, “us”), whose details are under Contact us below. By creating an account, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. About the service

Oakling Secondary Scholars is an online service for revision in Years 7 to 11: practice questions in maths, English and science, timed mock papers, worked explanations and progress for parents.

Our questions are written for this site in the style of GCSE papers. They are not official AQA papers, we are not connected with AQA or any other exam board, and the levels and scores shown are for practice only. They are not grades, and they do not predict grades.

3. Accounts

4. Our content and yours

The questions, explanations, mock papers, designs and the Oakling names and logos belong to us. While you have an account, you may use them for your own family’s revision.

A teenager’s answers and progress belong to the family. You let us store and use them only to run the service for you, as our privacy policy explains.

5. Fair use

Please do not:

6. Cost

The service is free at the moment. If that ever changes, we will tell parents well before it affects them, and nothing will be charged without a parent’s clear agreement.

7. Privacy

We handle personal data in line with UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018) and the ICO’s Children’s Code. Our privacy policy explains what we collect, why, and your rights.

8. No guarantee of results

We work hard to make questions accurate and helpful, but practice results do not predict or guarantee a grade in any real exam. If you spot a mistake in a question, email contact@oakling11plus.co.uk.

9. Availability

We aim to keep the service running smoothly but cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors, and we may improve or change features over time.

10. Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer or our liability for anything that cannot legally be limited, such as death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud. Otherwise, we are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable, or for business losses.

11. Ending your account

You can remove a teenager’s account at any time, and your own account (with all your teenagers’ accounts) from the Your data section of your dashboard. See our privacy policy for what happens to your data.

We may suspend or close accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms. Where reasonable, we will tell you why first and give you a chance to put things right.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, for example when we add features or the law changes. For an important change, we will tell account holders before it takes effect.

13. Law and disputes

If you have a problem, please email us first and we will do our best to put it right. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
